Arina Glozman is a junior at Drexel University studying Animation & VFX. With a 3.93 GPA, she is a fast learner and incredibly passionate about all things art and animation. She fell in love with animation after watching Disney’s Moana in theaters on opening night, and has been completely enamored with it since. During her time at Drexel, she has learned about and excelled at 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating in Autodesk Maya. Some of Arina’s favorite projects to date have been centered around texturing in Substance Painter, which she has so much fun with. She has additional experience in Nuke as well as the Adobe Creative Suite.

Arina is also pursuing a Music Minor. Music has been a part of her life since she was little, so she is excited to continue with it in college. She plays flute for Drexel’s Concert Band and Chamber Music group, and can also play the piano. She has been taking a number of music history classes at Drexel, and loves all of them.

When she isn’t 3D modeling something from her latest interest or playing an instrument, Arina’s go to activity is reading any kind of fantasy book that comes her way. She grew up on Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, and is an avid reader of anything that has dragons in it. (She is slowly making her way through Brandon Sanderson’s Way of Kings at the moment.) She also loves traditional art; she has taken multiple painting and charcoal figure drawing classes at Drexel, and they are her way of relaxing and de-stressing. Her favorite medium though is graphite, and she can often be found doodling in the margins of her notebooks.
