3D & Comp Work
You’re Toast!
“You’re Toast!” is the animation me and my friend have been working on this winter for our animation class. We took this project from the idea stage, to storyboarding, to the final polished animation. This was my first time rigging and animating something humanoid, and although it was very challenging, I had a lot of fun with it! We worked really hard on it and I’m super proud of how it turned out.
The specific shots I worked on were the zoom out on the toaster and the last scene, where the second robot comes into the scene and picks up the toaster chord.
LEGO Mclaren
This is a personal project of mine! Over the summer I discovered a love for Formula 1 and immediately knew I wanted to model something related to the sport. Enter Lego’s announced partnership with F1! This car was too cute not to recreate, especially the animation sequence. I hope you enjoy watching the model come together!
Retro Gas Station
I travel often by car, more often than not at night, and gas stations are always like an eerie beacon in the darkness. I wanted to see if I could recreate that feeling. This was modeled in Maya and textured in Substance Painter. I had a great time playing around with the fog settings and the glowing of the signs.
Formula 1: Light Tunnel
This was my first time creating my own project in Houdini. I had a great time (although somewhat stressful), but the program opens many more possibilities to me than I had before. This was a light trail sim I made that creates a sort of glowing light tunnel as a Formula 1 car (not mine) races through.
HI
The goal for this assignment was to add a CG element to a previous shot. This was my first time tracking a shot in SynthEyes, as well as building proxy geometry in Maya. It was a challenge, but I learned a lot from this process and have since then improved my skills.
Organic Modeling: Woman
This was the final project for my Organic Modeling course. This model took 8 weeks to make, each week focusing on a separate section of the body. I had never done any modeling like this before, and it was incredibly challenging. Even so, I am very very happy with the way it turned out. Below are more detailed wireframes.
Monty Python: A Recreation
This was my final project for one of my Animation classes. The goal was to recreate a scene from a movie with household objects. This was my first time rigging something, and I had a lot of fun animating with it. I also had a great time with animating the “swords” and making them look like they were clashing. I’m very proud of this project and I’m hoping to make something similar in the future!
Western Saloon: Spring 2023
I modeled this piano for a western saloon modular kit group project last year. This was mainly an excuse for me to go all out on Substance Painter. I had so much fun texturing all of the keys and especially adding dust and signs of wear and tear in the cracks and edges. This is one of my favorite models!
Here is the full saloon:
The others models I’m responsible for are the tables and chairs, the dartboard, and the modular kit itself.
Leaf blower
This is a leaf blower I modeled and textured for my CGI class. This was first experience with Substance Painter, and I immediately fell in love with it! I love working in Substance every chance I get. The amount of detail you can get is amazing, and I love the way my models look in the end!
Tea Kettle
I had a lot of fun modeling my tea kettle, although the transparent glass gave me a challenge, as well as the handle. I do like how simple it is, and I had a lot of fun modeling it.
